BIOGRAPHY

• Professor at the Jones Eye Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), USA.
• He specializes in the management of ocular inflammation and infection, as well as in retinal diseases, with expertise in both surgical and medical retina.
• Dr. Sallam has completed several fellowships in uveitis, medical retina, and surgical retina at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Barts Health Hospitals in the UK.
• Dr. Sallam has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in the field of uveitis and retina.
• Dr. Sallam is the Clinical Research Director at the Jones Eye Institute, UAMS.
• He is also deeply involved in resident and fellow education and currently serves as the Ophthalmology Residency Program Director at UAMS.
