BIOGRAPHY

• Consultant Ophthalmologist and the Clinical lead for Retinal service at the Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology, Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS, UK.
• She completed her training in ophthalmology in the West of Scotland and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (London) in 2008.
• She undertook Advanced Vitreoretinal Fellowship at the renowned St Thomas' Hospital in London in 2009.
• Dr. Saidkasimova is actively involved in the research and training of the new generation of ophthalmologists and is the Training lead for the British and Eire Vitreoretinal Society, as well as an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
